Celebrating 75 Years of Marksmanship Excellence

special 75th Anniversary Logo with rifle, pistol and shotgun represented

Pensacola Rifle & Pistol Club is using 2020 to celebrate a milestone recognizing 75 years as chartered by the NRA in the 1940s. Although we can trace our history back to the 1920s-30s and four different range locations, we have not forgotten our past and aim to create not just a location to shoot, but a destination for sport and recreational shooting.

Our Club has always been totally dedicated to the preservation of constitutional right of the people to keep and bear arms. We are a 100% NRA Club and membership is required for membership in our club.

Our facility is a private shooting range available for the use of our membership and their guests. However, we hold several sport shooting events every month. Membership is not required to participate in any of our club's shooting sports.

Membership and Privileges

Our facility is large, however the membership is relatively small. This allows our members to come out to shoot without the hustle and bustle of trying to find a bench or table or having to wait for one to become available. While some days are busy, others are very quiet and provide a relaxing environment to shoot or enjoy the company of fellow members.

All of our firing lines have concrete pads and are covered and full restroom facilities are at both ends of the range.

Block houses on the ranges have targets available for minimal cost with or without cardboard backers. Moveable target stands are available on most ranges, some ranges have permanently placed target stands or target frames. The Clubhouse has a refridgerator with cold drinks for sale and AC in a small meeting room or just to get out of the heat.

Members are allowed to bring guests as long as the guidelines in the rules are maintained.

Membership also includes affiliation with the Civilian Marksmanship Program (CMP) allowing members to buy surplus government rifles and ammunition. CMP Games matches and Pistol Excellence in Competition (EIC) matches are also authorized.

Our full color interactive newsletter is sent electronically six times a year. It has information about our club, range, shooting sports and other interesting stories.
